Senior Bookkeeper & Office Administrator

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Bookkeeper & Office Administrator to join our team. This is a pivotal leadership role within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping, combined with exceptional organizational and administrative skills. Key Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of the company’s bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and financial reporting.
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
Prepare financial statements and reports for management review, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
Work alongside project managers for client invoicing
Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets, providing insights and recommendations for financial planning.
Oversee office administrative functions, including managing correspondence, scheduling meetings, and organizing company records.
Serve as the main point of contact for vendors, clients, and external partners regarding financial and administrative matters.
Support HR functions, including onboarding new employees, managing benefits enrollment, and maintaining personnel records.
Ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the office, addressing any issues that arise promptly and efficiently.
Collaborate with the leadership team on special projects and initiatives as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a similar financial role, preferably within the construction or restoration industry.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
Strong knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with team members and external partners.
High level of discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must be able to lift 30 pounds.
